Affiliate Disclosure
I believe in being upfront with you, the same way I'd be honest with a friend. So here is exactly how Qalena makes money and why it never changes what I recommend.
The short version
Qalena.com participates in affiliate advertising programs. That means some of the links on this Site are affiliate links, and if you click one and make a purchase, I may earn a small commission, at no extra cost to you. The price you pay is exactly the same whether you use my link or not. Those small commissions are part of what keeps this Site running and the guides free.
Amazon Associates
Qalena is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com and affiliated sites.
As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
Other affiliate programs
In addition to Amazon, Qalena may take part in other affiliate programs and networks for baby gear, parenting products, and related services. Wherever an affiliate relationship exists, the same rule applies: you never pay more because of it, and it never buys a better review.
My promise to you
Here is the part that matters most to me. Every recommendation on this Site is genuine. I write as a mom of three and a former pediatric nurse assistant, and when I suggest a product, it is because I have used it, researched it carefully, or would honestly hand it to a brand-new parent myself. A commission never makes me praise something I don't believe in, and I will happily tell you when something isn't worth your money. Your trust is worth far more to me than any affiliate fee.
Advertising
Qalena also earns revenue through display advertising. We currently work with Google AdSense, and once the Site is eligible we plan to work with Mediavine. These networks may use cookies to show ads that are relevant to you. You can learn more about how advertising cookies work, and how to control them, in our Privacy Policy.
Not medical advice
One last important note. Everything on Qalena, including product recommendations, is general information and personal experience, never medical advice. I am not your child's doctor, and nothing here replaces a conversation with your pediatrician. Always check with a trusted professional about anything specific to your child's health and safety, especially before buying or using gear that affects safety, like car seats.
Questions?
If anything here is unclear, I'm an email away. Reach me at hello@qalena.com or through the contact page. Thank you for supporting Qalena. It genuinely helps.
